Hastelloy W (UNS N10004) is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy. It is originally developed for dissimilar metal welding and high-temperature structural components. This alloy delivers outstanding creep resistance, high-temperature stability up to 870°C, excellent resistance to molten salts, flue gas corrosion and reducing acid environments. Hastelloy W bar features balanced ductility and strength, stable mechanical performance under long-term thermal cycling, and superior weldability for dissimilar alloy joining. It is widely used in gas turbine parts, aerospace components, high-temperature furnace fixtures and chemical high-corrosion equipment.
